ADVENTIST Community Service

ADVENTIST COMMUNITY SERVICE

is the official community outreach ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the North American Division territories which comprises of North America, Guam and Micronesia, and Bermuda. ACS serves the whole person, a concept known as holistic ministry whose mission is to “serve communities in Christ’s name.”

The Braintree ACS is beginning a new ministry for mothers with young children.

Mother’s Corner will be a group of young mothers to interact with other mothers and our health professionals. Giving them the opportunity to have their maternal and child health questions answered. The group is there to support, listen and help.
The meetings will be once a month on Thursdays in the Church fellowship hall for about 1 hour. Light refreshments will be provided. Our health professionals conducting the meetings (on rotation) will be Chinyere Egbuta, Nadia Valentin, Velma Hamilton and Joshua Okallo.
